Giant panda Gong Gong’s diet these days includes chilled fruits and vegetables. As heatwaves hit Hainan province, Gong Gong’s home in the Hainan Tropical Wildlife Park and Botanical Garden has provided animals with fruits and ice to help them stay cool.

Gong Gong was born in 2013 in Sichuan. In November 2018, he and his brother Shun Shun moved to Hainan.
