Israel struck tents outside two major hospitals in the Gaza Strip overnight, killing at least two people and wounding another nine, doctors said on Monday.
Fifteen others were killed in separate strikes across the territory, according to hospitals, adding to the 32 people that local officials said were killed on Sunday, as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu headed to the United States for talks with President Donald Trump about the war.
Israel last month ended its ceasefire with Hamas and renewed its air and ground offensive, carrying out waves of strikes and seizing territory to pressure the militant group to accept a new deal for a truce and release the remaining hostages. It has also blocked the import of food, fuel and humanitarian aid for over a month to the coastal territory heavily reliant on outside help.
“Stocks are getting low and the situation is becoming desperate,” the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees said on social media.

A strike on a media tent outside Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis at around 2am on Monday set the tent ablaze, killing a reporter and another man, according to the hospital.

The Israeli military said it struck a Hamas militant, without providing further information. The military says it tries to avoid harming civilians and blames Hamas for their deaths because it is deeply embedded in residential areas.
