In a recent appearance on ABC’s morning TV show The View, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett shared her opinion of President Donald Trump’s return to the Oval Office, saying, “Soon you will understand why it’s important to maybe have someone that isn’t loud and ridiculous and maybe sleepy Joe is what we wanted because we could at least sleep at night.”

“People don’t understand, but you will understand when those hospitals in rural America start closing down even more,” Crockett continued, adding that Americans will reap what they sowed when they lose Social Security and Medicare, and experience further air-traffic security problems under Trump’s administration.

Jasmine Crockett is a lawyer and politician

Jasmine Crockett, 43, was born in March 1981 in St Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Rhodes College, Memphis, in 2003 with a BA in business administration, according to her biography. She later pursued a career in law and graduated from the University of Houston Law Center with a Juris Doctor degree in 2006. After passing the bar, she served as a public defender in Bowie County, Texas, from 2007 to 2010.
Crockett served in the Texas state House of Representatives from 2021 to 2023 and has served as the US Representative for Texas’ 30th Congressional District since January 2023.
